About: Tathagata Debnath completed his Secondary education from Netaji Subhash Vidyaniketan and Higher Secondary education from Sri Krishna Mission School, Agartala, Tripura. Completed his B.Tech Degree from National Institute of Technology Agartala and Completed M.Tech Degree from Tripura University (A Central University) in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, he is successfully completed his M.Tech Dissertation Under the Supervision of Dr. Mrinal Kanti Bhowmik where he received Gold medal for getting the highest score in his batch.

Current Status: Pursuing a Ph.D. from New Mexico State University, Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA, from the Department of Computer Science, under the supervision of Dr. Joe Song. His research interests include Bioinformatics, Genomics, Proteomics, Medical Image Processing, Machine Learning, etc.
